Our Annual Gala
The Gala is our biggest fundraiser, and a fun evening for everyone. It includes fine food, live and silent auctions and best of all, good company.
The Gala is our biggest fundraiser, and a fun evening for everyone. It includes fine food, live and silent auctions and best of all, good company.
The seventh annual Leef Gala was held on Saturday, November 15, at the Longmeadow Country Club and was an enjoyable evening with friends while bidding on many fabulous items in live and silent auctions. There was wonderful food and entertainment. Pianist Abbey Thomsen and Longmeadow student musicians performed. Items up for bid included Red Sox, Patriots and Celtics tickets and memorbilia, weekend getaways, gift certificates, wine, jewelry and a trip to Paris.
Longmeadow High School graduate Bradford Cohen was the Master of Ceremonies at the 2008 Gala. Brad is best known for his appearance on the television show "The Apprentice." Brad is an attorney and real estate developer in Florida.
The 2008 Gala is over, but the Gala Committee is always ready to accept items for the live and silent auctions. Typical auction items include sports equipment, tickets to a Broadway show, wine, art... something fun! We would love to have contributions from individuals, families and businesses. If you would like to volunteer your time or discuss your contribution for a future Gala with co-chairs Judi Threlfall and Ann Burke, please contact them via email at gala@LongmeadowLeef.org.
