For Teachers

About Grant Proposals

Grant proposals are welcome from any one or more Longmeadow Public School staff members, such as teachers, administrators, or other school personnel. The Board strongly encourages proposals that involve collaboration of faculty across grades, schools and departments. In general, a proposal that cost effectively reaches a larger student population is more likely to be funded than those that reach a smaller group. For more information, please read the Grant Guidlines.

Sample Grant Application

The grant review committee does not require an elaborate proposal. In fact, short and to the point explainations/answers in the grant application form is usually the only requirement. If your proposal does have multiple cost items, please take the time to list the items and their costs. We hope the sample application below will be helpful. If you have questions, please attend the application workshop when it comes to your school, and feel free to contact your school liaison at any time.
